1957 4-cylinder Ferrari 500 TRC Spider

This year, a rare four-cylinder 1957 Ferrari 500 Testa Rossa was set to be sold at an auction and is expected to reach $4 million for its selling price. Yes folks, that’s right, a genuine, factory designed four-cylinder Ferrari. History says that the Ferrari 500 TRC Spider, as in Testa Rossa Type-C, was one of the last four-cylinder models ever built by the Prancing Horse in Maranello. The engine was originally designed by Aurelio Lampredi for Formula Two and was later adapted to Ferrari’s racing prototypes.
